A tradesperson at work in a timber workshop

About

15 years of other people's to-do lists

Tacob Contractors Services started in 2011 with one van and a simple rule: quote it honestly, then honour the quote.

Most homes have a list. The door that catches, the tap that drips, the shelf that's been leaning against the wall since the move. None of it is big enough to call a specialist for, and all of it is annoying enough to think about every day.

That list is the whole job here. We work across Toronto, Richmond hill, Oakridges and the surrounding towns, mostly for people who found us through a neighbour. Repeat work and referrals are the majority of the calendar, which is the only marketing metric worth much in this trade.

We're licensed () and carry in liability cover. Every job is backed for 90 days — if something we touched fails in that window, we come back and put it right at no cost.

How we work

Three things we hold to

We tell you when you don't need us

Plenty of jobs are a ten-dollar part and a screwdriver. If that's yours, we'll say so on the phone rather than book a callout.

One person, start to finish

The tradesperson who quotes your job is the one who does it. Nothing gets lost between the estimator and the van.

The site gets left clean

Drop sheets down before we start, dust sheeted off, offcuts taken away. You shouldn't be cleaning up after a repair.
